Unbelievable, lockdown again and no staff here that knows anything yet again.my father just getting more and more confused as are we as a family. If staff cared more about the residents than smoking outside or in the kitchen they might actually help residents, theres no or hardly any interactions with them whatsoever and thank the lord my fathers nothing left to take.they all need to concentrate on a better job.

It seems this place has not changed what so ever. I took amber lodge to an internal review when my mam passed away and changes were implemented at the case.I will chase these up for you and see why people are still having to go through this stress and the recommendations are not in place.Do contact me if you need to and also go to the evening post website and type in my name and amber lodge and you will be able to see what this place is really like also contact the CQC they will also look into this

My Nanna has a form of dementia that unfortunately means she lashes out and can be aggressive as can a lot of sufferers of this disease, every time I visited her at Amber Lodge she was unclean and agitated and often looked unsettled.
