Been using the bank for 30 plus years. Always helpful, always personalable and I'm always happy when something doesn't look right they always call me.
Wanted to like them because of the give back checking but it's too inconvenient for me. Their tellers and customer service are hardly ever helpful. And they don't support venmo transfers.
This bank used to be much larger. They have closed numerous branches and service is minimal. A friend sent an international wire transfer following the instructions on their site and it has been lost in their system for weeks. The tellers and managers just pass you along without any real assistance. Avoid!

I would really like to be working with Amalgamated Bank; however, I haven't even been able to open a business checking account over the course of a week. I initially called on Thursday and spoke to a representative about a business banking account.
