I first noticed my daughter’s red, puffy tonsils a couple of years ago. We tried an oral appliance to help with jaw development at the recommendation of an airway specialist but she just couldn’t tolerate the device. Nothing but good things to say. Our newborn son had a tongue and lip tie & we were referred to Alyssa by our lactation consultant, although we previously did craniosacral with our oldest when she was born. He also had a broken collarbone from delivery & she helped work through his various issues. Our son was always very relaxed during the sessions & improved physically after going to his sessions. I brought my 19 month old daughter to Alyssa for what looked like the reoccurrence of Torticollis. Traditional therapies (doc band, PT) helped her to an extent but her head tilt never fully went away, it would come and go. I would notice facial asymmetries, especially when looking in the mirror with her. I am so grateful for Alyssa. We were told our son would need tubes put in, but after just a few sessions with Alyssa, his ears had cleared up and he does not need tubes anymore. Alyssa was wonderful to work with!
