The Nordic spa was cute, but half of the pools and sauna’s were closed. To pay 140 bucks and not be made aware of this ahead of time was extremely disappointing.
This was the most amazing day I have had in quite a while! My questionnaire for the massage was carefully reviewed and applied during my massage. The hydrotherapy pools were both relaxing and rejuvenating. We also enjoyed what the bistro had to offer along with our wellness tottie, YUM. I look forward to my next visit. The ONLY issue I had was the hike to and from the parking lot.
The spa area itself was gorgeous, but seriously overcrowded. It did not seem like there was any limitation on the hydrotherapy purchases at all and as a result, there were just masses of bodies slammed into every sauna, hot tub and cold tub. My husband and I booked a couple’s massage three weeks before our stay. We requested specific genders for our massage therapists and that it be a couple’s massage, ie. we are both in the same room. Will not be using this spa again. I have several times in the past and it was ok, but the tipping point was the locker room scenario. While in there, several women and I were changing and then someone appears to be next to us also changing. A man. Who is attempting to appear as a woman that clearly isn’t and is visibly showing he is in fact a man.
