we had someone in our family there, they did not care for her as much as she needed. she had dementia and was bed ridden, not enough staff were concerned about the way she was in. the staff were not as friendly as we needed and the food was terrible and she never ate it. not a good place you’re welcome, for my concern
I have sat on this for a year now. I am torn between the highlight of her care. It was either receiving a final statement 1 working day after her passing, with no mention of condolences, or does it go to the R Nurse on shift who said she didnt need a doctor on her last night alive. She was in enormous pain, suffering greatly and the nurse said she couldn't get a doctor tonight, but one could come in 4 days on their usual run. Do not go here they refused help when family was passing and are trying to scam money off of us still a year after she had passed they owe us money and refuse to pay it even tho there is a government note stating that she got scammed and doesn’t need to pay, gave through an invoice a day after the passing and the food was absolutely terrible do not send love ones here
This one star is for there appalling Accountancy only!!!!..Have nothing but praise for the staff that looked after and gave service to my Aunty. My Aunty wasn't a resident but used Alwyndor for balance classes and social respite. From day one they were charging her fees on the wrong days she was actually there when they sent the invoices. Numerous times they sent invoicing changing for days they say we didn't pay(we always paid cash or credit card) which we had to go and sort out.
