Our mom loves living at Alura! Besides that it’s gorgeous, clean and always entertaining… it is also safe!! Recently she had a fall and the staff were so quick to respond, assess, and call for paramedic assistance. Her after care and the concern shown by staff to help her heal was well above and beyond. Just like family, but maybe even a little bit better!! Thank you for everything, mom is doing great!! And we have the assurance that’s she’s being well cared for.
Alura is a wonderful place! My mother-in-law lives there and receives excellent care. The staff is friendly and kind. The food is really good and plentiful: there are two entree choices daily, plus a list of staples that can be ordered anytime. One of the things that truly sets Alura apart from the other places we visited is the activities offered! There is something going on daily, and there are numerous crafts offered each week. So my 99 year old grandmother lives here. I haven’t seen her since the last home she stayed in. Such a difference. My grandmother had an entirely different spunk. David, Lisa, and Indra were the people I met and observed while being there for half a day. I had tears in my eyes knowing they actually cared about my grandmother. No phony gestures or such. My mom has been in Memory Care for about a year. Through all the ups and downs of her 97th year, the staff has treated her as family with the perfect balance of compassion, professionalism and joy. So thankful for Mary and Marcia who set the standard!
