This company does not have the means to protect consumers I have been hacked, and they cant reimburse me and then file an investigation they want to take your monies call you and not help you. Stay away!!! Do not open an account here
My Mom had an account with Altura in the name of her Revocable Trust. She passed away 11/29/2023. Notified Altura the next business day and subsequently sent them a death certificate. As I am Successor Trustee of her trust I've been trying to close her acct. This process has been a nightmare. Altura asks for documentation to be sent to their legal **** by expedited mailing. I’m disappointed to say that my experience with this bank has been incredibly frustrating. I deposited ERC government checks over a month ago, and despite numerous attempts, they still haven’t managed to clear or verify them. This level of inefficiency and lack of urgency is truly disheartening. I understand that these checks are important to me, and I expected a basic level of competence from a bank. Altura has helped me position myself for success as I have gotten more serious about proving myself and my career altura has found ways to make sure I had the means. Abraham has been relentless in helping me get my first car get funding for school and licensing fees as well as any refi I wouldn't recommend putting your money and trust anywhere else
Horrible customer service. I asked for options for not able to pay my loan on time. The rep repeated after my statement "oh, so you can't make a payment and why?" Showed no empathy and was just cut throat. I never said I couldn't pay my loan, I can pay my load i just would not pay it on the payment date. Altura needs to re train their rep's. Don't sound so monotone and at least share a smile and be curious after the call.
Been with this bank for years. They are rude, bias, and no, they don't accept responsibility for their responsibility. They promise refunds, credits, and to help, then they say and do another. This bank is not for its members, has preferential treatment towards certain members and needs to work on ethics.
They don't accept responsibility for their mistakes and there have been a few in the 15 years we have been with them strictly as a matter of convenience. The last straw was when we deposited an insurance settlement check in my wife's account. We both banked with Altura but each have our own accounts plus a joint auto loan. We have an account with this credit union going on 1 year. Over a week ago we transferred money from the account we have with them to another banking institutions account. That money never made it to the other account, after countless attempts in person and via phone to get an answer of where our money is we have gotten no response other than "they don't know".
