Ryan Bednar was my mom's psychiatrist for a couple of years. He would constantly switch her medicine, every visit he would have her on a new med. "Oh, this one is newly approved".... He used my mom as a guinea pig and to get bonuss for pushing new medicine. He is very obviously in this industry for money and not because he cares for the well being on his patients. So I’ve been here before and it was good but I eventually stopped going and then tried to call and schedule a new appointment and they said they’d call me back so I called again eventually and they said the same thing as last time and then gave me a phone number to call someone named October and it’s been weeks and still haven’t heard anything so I honestly think they don’t really care about helping people only in it for the money at the end of the day.

I’m deaf, and I really dislike this place. It is not deaf-friendly, and the staff shows no willingness to help deaf survivors. They seem completely unaware of the struggles we face due to audism. My appointments, which should last an hour, are often cut short to just five minutes. I feel like they dismiss me with a "you don’t matter" attitude. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL DRIVERS INTERVENTION PROGRAM! It was so much more than I expected. I did DIP 14 years ago at a different facility and it was nothing like this. Lenny is absolutely incredible and was always available for questions or concerns. I did 57 days in a rehab and got SO much more in these 3 days than I did with those 57 days. Lenny and his partnering staff were wonderful. I'm grateful to have 'randomly' chosen this place to do my DIP. Had a great group of people. Alternative Paths has been wonderful to me and for me. As a Veteran who can access care at the VA, but doesn't necessarily like driving to Cleveland - I have found an amazing provider (Eric Steiner) here who has given me the mental health support that I need to continue to thrive in my recovery.
