I originally went to Dr. Barter for chiropractic care for my chronic pain, but given my history with ulcerative colitis, she recommended running a stool test since my GI doctor's treatments weren't doing much. The results were life-changing. I went from having 26 bloody bowel movements a day down to just 1 or 2. It’s an incredible relief to finally manage my UC symptoms naturally.

I came to seeDr. Barter on a recommendation. My main complaints were bloating, constipation and fatigue. I have had Hashimoto's for as long as I can remember and my antibodies have always been exceedling high in the 1000s. After we worked on my gut and other imbalances my hashimotos markers went into the normal range - I had no idea that would be a possibility! I no longer struggle with any gut issues or fatigue.

I started seeing doctor ann for terrible anxiety where my heart would flutter. I was worked up by a cardiologist and they were not able to find anything. She was able to identify infections, nutrient imbalances and she used a machine called FSM to help with my vagus nerveand it has made all of the difference in the world. I think my anxietywas coming from feelingmy heart and as that has stopped my anxiety is improving. Life changing treatments.

When I first came to see Dr. Barer I was 60 pounds overweight and I was experiencing constipation and bloating. My focus was to get healthy. We found a leaky gut and lots of bacterial overgrowth.
