After many excellent years with Alterna, I moved out of Toronto. I wanted to close the account, but because of mobility issues, was unable to visit the branch office. However, a representative went out of her way to help me close the account remotely. She understood my situation and was very helpful and friendly.
When you first come in, there's a really nice coffee station accessible to the customers. When you ask for a coffee, you are told that the coffee is not for customers but just for employees.
They lock out customers. You might have to wait up to 5 minutes for them to come and unlock the doors which are there to keep the place safe during closing hours. They have decided to keep them close during opening hours.
