I've gone in twice to request hemming services for my teenage kids and been turned away both times. I needed 2 items shortened, which is a fairly simple & straightforward tailoring request. Snow said she couldn't do the alterations and that the results wouldn't look good. Hard to believe that's a real excuse for a tailor. My sense is that Snow has a racial bias and didn't want to help my family because we are multiracial. Awful experience. I brought a 2-piece Saree to have the bottom section hemmed and taken in at the waist and to see if it was possible to add any room at all in the top piece. Firstly, I felt completely invisible as I was ignored for a good 10-15 minutes. Then, when I was asking if Snow could help with the above issues, she acted like the job was below her and told me the outfit was "cheap."
