Bought online from them - excellent experience! I've seen some not so good to downright bad reviews on Al's on various websites. However, they had some snowboard boots I really wanted for a price that really couldn't be beaten (literally - www.backcountry.com wouldn't even match it despite their pricematch policy). They processed my order quickly; it shipped on the same day I placed my order. Their customer service, both via the phone and e-mail, was fantastic.
AlsSports.com A+ customer service and prices Loved shopping at Al's. A few years ago I shopped alot at Al's while going to Utah state. I just found their website. Very good customer service and good prices. I called in to verify the price on some sunglasses, they confirmed, I was shocked, placed my order, they arrived in 3 days, I have been STOKED ever since. Only place to shop for Smith SUnglasses online.

Local REI-type store Als Sporting Goods is a large store that sells athletic shoes and clothes, camping supplies, bikes, hunting supplies, and outdoor game equipment. The staff usually asks you instantly if you need help in the shoe section, but not so much in the other sections (which I like better). The prices usually seem high as compared to the national chains, but you can get great deals in their clearance shoe section and at their promotional events like the midnight madness sales. Prices Not Too Good, Trendy Atmosphere There is a pretty good selection here, the customer service is average, and the prices aren't too hot. I would recommend somewhere else. Only practical need would be if they had a specialty item that you had to have.
