I purchased the 2100 GPH Hurricane pump in 2025. It failed within 5 months of use. Something broke that caused the impeller to come loose and basically destroy itself. Everything in the pump is basically cheap plastic. The pump had only been used in clean water with regular maintenance and cleaning. Since the pump has a 3 year warranty, I contacted Alpines warrant department and opened a claim. EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. ATTRACTIVE. CHEAP BOUGHT IT AT DRUG MART ON A WHIM.
We purchased a GIL 1646 Calm 3 Tier Infinity Fountain. It was rather easy to set up, works well and looks good at night. We have had it for about a month and just noticed that the top of the base of the fountain is chipping in front of the cylinders. This is very disappointing. I tried calling the company and got voicemail. We like the fountain and would consider replacing it with another from the company but not if it, too, is going to chip; it raises quality issues. Beware.
I see that I'm not the only person scammed by this company and also by Amazon, who, despite my complaints, never did anything, and after 60 days passed, they no longer help you get your money back. They stole $650 from me because the fountain was clogged from day one and didn't work; I contacted Amazon, and they referred me to this company, who gave me the runaround and finally sent me a new pump, which didn't help because the fountain itself was clogged, and the problem wasn't the pump. I purchased an indoor floor bubble fountain from this company. It works for about an hour, and then the two white hoses attached to the air compressor wont stay attached while turned on. I talked to customer service and spoke to a representative named Eve. She seemed to have issues with English comprehension, and quickly moved the issue to emails in which she asked for all sorts if pictures, and product information. I was given no solution in response.
