All staff have been friendly, introduced themselves, I’ve seen some out at community events, and my significant other and his brother bank there. Setting up my account was easy once I decided to do it in person. My dog was welcome there and made friends with a couple other dogs. All additional requests have been taken care of. I like all the options available, like making a deposit from my phone!
I’ve never been treated this unfairly by a bank before. I believe personal bias and misuse of authority influenced how I was treated by Debbie Routt, who works at this branch and also serves on my HOA board (BCOA). My friend and I went into the bank simply to open an account. I posed no threat to anyone, yet the next day we were told we were no longer allowed to return—apparently at Ms. Routt’s request. There is no question in my mind that Alpine is committed to the communities within which their branches exist. All things being equal about who gets my business....this matters to me as so few banks care about their communities, meaning they do not care about the triple bottom line like Alpine does.
I have been a customer for a long time. Adonna Allen and her team do such a great job. Their involvement in our community is exemplary, with no cause too small to care. Truly a community partner.
