I joined Alpine Bank when I moved here 22 years ago. At times I had almost $100k in savings to do construction on my house. Think I maybe made $20 a year on this. Just figured that's how banks are. Finally I wised up and figured out I was being ripped off and finally moved to the high interest bank Sofi. Couldn't be happier. Dont make the mistake I made. You are getting ripped off. Leave
I was with another big bank for 30 plus years and never once spoke to a customer service representative that gave a darn about me as a person. Opening an account was simple, every question and difficulty I had on my end was clearly answered with true compassion. I could really connect and laugh with the representatives I worked with. When I call, the phone rarely rang more than 4 times before I was greeted with the best question, could I have your name? If I go inside everyone is always cordial to me and helpful. The drive-thru window service is very snooty they are lazy to help find your account number something that I don't carry around with me so I always go in
