Posting this so people know, since Google hasn't yet registered that Alpine Car Rental has ceased operation. It closed at the end of April 2024. I just checked to see if anything has changed and it has reopened and the phone number was out of service. It's a shame, because it would have been so easy to take Amtrak and rent a car at the Alpine train station.

Absolutely false!!! They have no cars to rent! Don't go to Alpine expecting to get a rental car! That is just out of the question!
Phone number is disconnected, so went there on a Monday to inquire and the door is locked. Not a good way to do business.
