Went on the Glacier Discovery tour. Unfortunately, we had to skip the glacier landing due to weathers, but we still had an incredible time. I’d highly recommend this operator to anyone. Every single one of the staff was super nice, kind, and helpful. The reservation team worked with my schedule to arrange a last minute tour and transfer. Our pilot/guide, Jonathan, ensured we had great view and made sure we returned safely despite all the turbulence. This excursion was our favorite part of our recent 12-day Alaska tour. Helicopter ride was great fun and very informative. Walking on and exploring around the glacier was wonderful. Our guide was great and pointed out several moose.
The whole experience was incredible! Kris picked me up from Anchorage and had some great stories on the way. The staff and pilots were great as well. Most of all the DOGS!!! OH MY GOD THE DOGS!! As someone who has a husky it was incredible to see what they can do! The trainers were great and answered all of our groups questions. You can tell they love what they do. This was a top 5 life experience for me, if youve ever considered doing some dogsledding, Alpine should be your first and only choice
Fantastic experience of flying and going dog sledding with the crew. Highly responsive, very responsible and super friendly crew. They made traveling with a 4yr old a piece of cake! Plus the dogs were super cute!
I can 100% say that this is a MUST do tour in Valdez. You are able to get the most in depth perspective of the glaciers and absolutely stunning views. This was by far the most breathtaking excursion I've ever been on. Marco and Marcos are amazing. So knowledgeable, helpful, and patient.
