Spent a summer there in 1972 as a councillor, amazing experience. Loved it, the welcome I had was brilliant. The staff, made me so welcome. The kids were fantastic. I returned there for the 90th anniversary after I had retired and was amazed at the welcome I got. Many of the visitors were there in 1972!!!!! Incredible. Don’t hesitate to go if you’re given the opportunity, you will love it. Ian Brooke
Do not take your kids here. Also don’t recommend working here. Very toxic environment. For the workers and the campers as well.

Overrated. Had to constantly sing inane songs for every occasion. We had to clap whenever someone dropped dishes. Not funny to laugh at someone tripping. Refuse to come back
