Overrated. Had to constantly sing inane songs for every occasion. We had to clap whenever someone dropped dishes. Not funny to laugh at someone tripping. Refuse to come back
2 days ago my wife and I were walking around Lake Morey - we were on vacation staying at the resort. Some very rude, unsupervised boys made disparaging comments to us...and were yelling at us. This puts this camp in a very bad light.
Went there in 1948 and loved it!
No place is perfect, but I did have an amazing experience at my time at Aloha. Many different activites and the majority of the campers and counselors are very accepting and everyone, and it feels like a place where you can truly be yourself and grow. The camp is also very pretty and the facilities are taken good care of.
