Never get a loan with Ally. The only thing consistent with Ally is their miscommunication. Ally does not have you in their interest. They use unethical business practices and will give you a horrible deal on a loan. If you are working with them and stuck in a loan, record every single phone call you have with them. They will lie to you on how much you owe. Getting a loan with Ally was the worst financial decision I have ever made.
Paid truck off 2 years ago, called for the title and they will not release it! Ive had the truck sold and buyer waiting for 3 weeks. Their record keeping is beyond abysmal.
So they call me up saying I'm 3 months late for a payment and report to credits I've only made 1 payment in the entire time I've financed my vehicle, which is completely false. My payments are $709 a month and my amount overdue is $309 which is only half of one payment, so how would I be 3 months past due? That's not even possible, you guys need to learn how do math for one, if I have to get a lawyer I guess I will have to. False reporting is illegal by the way
Makes making payments the most complicated objective possible
Unbelievably poor experience. They suspended my account for some glich not due to lack of funds or late payments. supposedly, they had it fixed but for 3 months now they cannot fix or unsuspend the account. They escalate you to people who cannot help and say they have it fixed but it is never been fixed. THen they offer you to pay over the phone for a fee. Truly incompetent. I had to find the closest ally bank to take it to them. terrible company to work with.
