I've been faithfully paying my car loan every single month for 2 years and not even close to half of the over $15,000 has gone toward the principal balance. The ONE TIME I was able to speak with someone was less than pleasant and the end result was the refusal to consider my payment history, FICO score, or anything else to lower the rate. Instead they offered to consider a second loan that may or may not have a lower rate. I do not and would not ever recommend Ally to anyone

Terrible customer service! I’ve paid on time every month, the one time I need so skip a payment I reached out. They assured me that the payment could be skipped as long as I made a $100 payment that month. I was then charged $100 payment along with my original payment amount. I requested the original amount to be refunded to my bank account. They assured me that it would be done within a week. This company called 4 times asking me about a person's name that I didn't know. Before I could ask any questions they rudely interrupted me and hanged up. I hope and pray that people would stop or avoid doing business with this company until it goes down.

I wish you can give negative review, not even worth one start !! Ridiculous financing company. Each department doesn’t even seem to communicate or work with the others. Customer service tells you one thing, but when you speak with the other department, they claim they have no idea why customer service provided you with that information. They send you letters saying they’re working with your insurance company on your claim, but when you call, they tell you those are just automated letters and ask you to deal with your insuran... read more
