I've made a point of paying a month ahead to keep my account current. Now they are not crediting that early payment, forcing me to make another payment in the same month to keep my account current
Ally ally ally, I had an auto loan with you, paid every single payment on autopay for 4 years solid, on time, every time, but I had one banking error on the FINAL payment, no call, no email, NOTHING, you just dinged my credit instead. WOW! All during COVID to boot. As if I was gonna stiff you on the FINAL payment after a perfect payment record..
I have had many auto loans and credit cards, and this auto loan with Ally has been beyond a terrible experience. Never received a welcome package or letter with account information or due date. I get a non payment letter for the 1st 2 payments and they put it on my credit report. I asked why they didnt call, they said they had a funny number, but now somehow they have found my number and called me. Customer service can get very pathetic at times. I’m saying this because it has happened multiple times
Their website is trash! They won’t allow you to pay your payments using the free option only the options that charge you an extra fee. Customer service is even worst than the website. They can’t help you with any of the website issues and refuse to waive any fees even when their website is the problem. After I make a few payments with them, I’m immediately refinancing with a different lender. Horrible service. I wish I could leave zero stars.
