my husband leased a vehicle and added our sons name since he just turned 18 and wanted to help him build credit. he died 5 days later. ally wouldn't do anything for us. instead they are holding our 18 year old responsible for a 3 year $377 a month lease. he works part time- they NEVER would have leased him the truck but they are holding him responsible.
Never, ever, ever finance your car through Ally Financial, unless you're really into surprise enormous late fees that they will not explain (as I've paid over the amount due every month for the past year) that happened to appear as you're getting ready to make your final payment, and really like not having the situation resolved through several attempts of what is supposed to be customer service. I have received such poor treatment through this company and zero help, that I feel it is my duty to warn others.
This one � is too kind. Made every payment but Ally returned every payment with no reason why except see your bank. A scam company to make interest in what they call late payments. Representative Trobeck doesn't return calls. Trying to pay auto off but due to questionable late charges, unable to get pay off as the daily are still compounding late fees. A SCAM company. Sad they are in my great City.
I have 3 vehicle loans paid off with Ally and never a late payment. Yet, even with a near 700 credit score they charge me over 10%. The worst part, is my payment was 7 days late at one point (mind you they have a 10 DAY grace period) and they started calling 3 times a day. It's not even a hit until you're 30 days late so I'm ready to file a harassment claim with BBB.
Literally the worst company ever when dealing with lease documents and loan payments. Will never do business with them again.
I just want to know who really runs this company. My vehicle was totaled in January 2016. I'm still trying to get in touch with someone who has answers for me about a balance. But they keep adding interest and reporting late payments to my credit report. Every time I try to call, I get bounced around from one rep to another with language barriers. Do not finance through this company. They have horrible customer service and are a bunch of crooks.
They're crooks impersonating a financial (they need to be put into a) institution! If they were the last bank on the planet to go to for an auto loan, I'll WALK before I deal with the crooks! Thanks Ally for screwing with my credit!!!!!!!!!!
