Allison is wonderful to have as a resource when life gets tough. I’m thankful for her support and the infertility group she used to run before COVID forced a shutdown.
My experience with Allison was ok. While she has a lot of valuable knowledge about infertility experiences, I found she gave A LOT of unsolicited advice rather than asking me what I wanted to do about an issue or actually reflecting with me about something I'd said. If I disagreed, she'd repeat the same advice - maybe that's just not the style of therapy for me but it felt like she was pushing an agenda.
