Overall, we were satisfied with Allied. They did break a paper shredder. I'm not sure why it wasn't packed in a box like almost everything else was. On delivery, the crew accidentally took my two wheel dolly. They used it to return the furniture wraps to the truck, and didn't bring it back. Other than those two things, we were happy.
After an incredibly rough start (pulled my neighbors electric line down with the truck), they finished even worse. After calling my son on speed dial repetitively, the delivery driver didn’t have any help so he paid my son $100 to go get a U-Haul and then unload the entire truck. Not sure what I paid almost $4,000 for? Horrible experience throughout. The only 2 employees that seemed to have any professionalism were Coleen and Ian. April 16, 2026 Google review On December 2nd of last year one of Allied VanLine’s trucks crashed into the fence in front of of my home while making a turn on the street I live on. Instead of stopping to see the damage the driver drove away. Moving from a storage unit in Chicago to Palm Springs. Teams all on time and loaded truck in about 2.5hours. Arriving in Palm Springs had one item that had some damage but is fixable. The coordination was good and very communicative. Price was fair based in getting 3 estimates. Good group would recommend.
