I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. To start with the positives: the individual movers themselves were kind, helpful, and gracious. The team from New Britain, CT, did a great job for us. The packers worked quickly and packed very carefully and securely. They performed as well when loading the truck. Our driver, Tim Koch, was conscience and directed all the operations well. Everything made it into the house. This was our 3rd move with Allied and they have all been done very well.
I inquired online and was called quickly. The pricing was very reasonable and the people were friendly. Pedro both picked up and delivered and he kept us informed and was very nice. The entire experience made moving 1500 miles less stressful. I chose Allied due to the long history and reputation. There are horror stories about some moving companies and knew I would only go with an established service.
From start to finish i had an exceptional experience. From original quote moving from ct to sc it was a great experience. Movers themselves were friendly, efficient, helping, and professional. They loaded my stuff on a Wednesday and delivered that Sunday. And the final cost was $500 UNDER the price quoted. Would highly recommend.
