Estimator drastically underestimated my household and I ended up paying an extra $11k for their mistake.
We believe we received very good service in Chesterfield. Our Coordinator, Melissa was outstanding on every level. Her communication and follow up were very good. Andre, our packer was very good. He was efficient and skilled. Jason and his crew of three were careful and handled our belongings with the utmost skill. The only reason for 3/5 stars and not the 10/5 stars they deserve is because we contracted for a door to door move from Va to Co. I am so glad I contacted my local Allied Van Lines who actually sent out an estimator Patrick to my home. He provided me with very detailed information about the whole moving process. Downsizing after 35 years into a smaller home out of State was a challenge. Allied Van Lines driver and helpers made sure our furniture was completely wrapped and handled with care. Everybody was so wonderful & incredibly helpful. Very smooth process!
All of the positive ratings convinced me, however their service was appalling. My furniture was damaged by the movers, the delivery was unnecessarily delayed, and customer service disappeared. Completely disappointed and lacking in professionalism
