I recently had a move from Virginia to British Columbia. Marion visited to give an estimate and discuss logistics. She was so helpful and thorough and walked me through every step. AJ and his crew in Virginia and Nick and his crew in BC were fantastic. They were all very careful, polite, and diligent workers. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Allied (Dunmar movers in VA) again if needed.
They blocked our alley for 12 hours moving into a 2,000 sq/ft town home. Items are broken and missing and then, as they left at 10:30 at night, they tore the electrical meter off a neighbors wall, shutting off their AC.
All was well up until the time of pickup. Though their estimate was higher, I chose this company based on reviews of timeliness and care. When picking up my items, I specifically told two lead team members that boxes containing fragile items that were set aside in my room were not to be transported. The coordinators I worked with (Kathy and Marion) were super helpful and amazing. They helped make the move a lot less stressful. I highly recommend this company if you want your move to be in good hands.
