We recently used Allied Moving Specialists to move our belongings from Brisbane to Mount Isa. While the collection process went smoothly, unfortunately the delivery and follow-up experience were very disappointing. When our items arrived, multiple pieces were damaged. This didn’t appear to be normal “in transit” wear and tear, but rather a lack of care in handling. Allied Moving Services were wonderful to deal with. Prompt, courteous and a pleasure.
The customer service & flexibility leading up to our move was fantastic. On the actual moving day, the team were friendly and considerate. My only concern was how some items were packed. We had left items in plastic boxes for them to pack & they just put the lid on the box & went to load it. We had to request items to be wrapped individually (photo frames). They did have a new person& I feel he should have been more closely supervised. Would use again but learning for future is to have nothing in any boxes so they are forced... read more
