In 2022 I purchased my first rural Wisconsin property not knowing much about propane vs city gas. The property I purchased had an oversized 1500 gallon propane tank that was leased from Allied for many years. Every month or so I would purchase $400 worth of propane as my budget would only allow. This would fill my propane tank about 20% Allied would charge an additional $150 every time the propane tank went under 20% meaning every time I needed more propane I would incur this surcharge!
