I have lived places that had community theaters. I don't know if this is supposed to be a community theater. There are a lot of small theaters in Buffalo and Alleyway Theater is one of them. Seats, I think, about 100. Cozy and comfortable, though I'll bring a seat cushion with me next time. Last night I saw The Cottage. Excellent performances. A lot of laughs. Surprise ending.... more of a punchline. The theater has a bar and lobby seating. And a restroom, of course.
Alleyway Theatre is THE venue for enlightenment, smiles, and social interaction. We just attended The Cottage = EXCELLENT play! Acting was A+, story was hilarious, and I smiled the WHOLE time. Thanks for a great evening!
I was early for a DIVO concert down the street at Shea's, so decided to explore the architecture on Main St. Didn't take long for this facade to grab my attention, but didn't know at the time it's importance - until I found this postcard while browsing through my collection looking for something else ... WOW! I was there! So went off looking for more information but it's scarce and thought to share my find with y'all.
