I have been to Alleva for two different issues and am very satisfied with the progress I have made. Practitioners Damon and Kate do a careful intake and are very attuned to my pain level and progress. Each session combines acupuncture and cupping with therapeutic massage to relax the muscles affected. Alleva's care has enabled me to continue with my daily activities to include strength training, swimming, walking and exercise classes which I find important to continue in retirement.
Alleva Acupuncture has been an incredible medical resource. Both Kate and Damon are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, especially in explaining the interconnectedness of various ailments. I saw Damon for acupuncture and body work following 5 years of post-pregnancy back pain that was only marginally lessened by chiropractic care and personal training. I've been going to Damon for almost a year now for acupuncture, cupping/gua sha, and herbal medicine. I recently turned 50, and between perimenopause and work-related stress, my body wasn’t doing well. Damon has been treating my frozen shoulder and chronic neck/shoulder tension. Since starting treatment, I’ve seen steady progress and have continued going regularly. I would highly recommend seeing Damon — he’s very knowledgeable and truly takes the time to listen.
