Everyone at Allendale Residential Home showed such professionalism, kindness, compassion, respect, dignity and patience to our dearest Mum. They became like a second family to us all. All members of staff were so caring in understanding Mum’s needs. Wonderful home-cooked food and caters for all specific dietary requirements and likes and dislikes. Don’t send your loved ones here! My family member was treated unethically and without dignity. Several safeguarding concerns and the manager refused to admit liability. No emotional empathy from the manager AT ALL. Absolutely disgusting this family run business clearly care about the money and not about the residents. I’ve seen residents cry asking other residents for water. The elderly here are dehydrated. It’s vile what this country has come to that we treat the elderly this way as if they are disposable.
