I went to 3 different stores today looking to sell some gold and silver. Allen's offered me the best price by far. I talked with 4 different employees and I was pleased with all my interactions. I also went to Buckeye down the street and Appraisal Services. All 3 were professional, but I liked Allen's the best.
I came in as a new collector and should've done more research. I purchased a 1958 Franklin Half - D - "AU" condition. It was just stapled in a coin sleeve, not actually graded. I'm not complaining about the condition. The price was $62. Looking online the same day they were charging basically double what melt value would've been for a not rare coin.
