We moved to Allen county last year. So last fall we invested in planting grass. And as dry as it has been this summer i have been watering...a lot.My water bill is set up on auto draft from my bank. So twice in the last year I have had really high water bill. I have received 2 calls from ACWD letting me know something was happening and caused very high water bill. Billing sucks. My wife and I called and were told we didn't need a security deposit when we changed the bill from my mother-in-law to our name at the same address she received service at for YEARS. We were told no deposit was required because of these circumstances. Then our water was disconnected and we were told we had to pay our security deposit before it could be reconnected. They close at 4pm. This is impossible to pay if you actually work. We all want to be home as early as possible too, but your hours are unreasonable... read more
