We booked a flight to Florida for a June 24th vacation in March. Today, June 5th they canceled our flight booking due to ‘irregularities’ and fraud. They cannot explain to us what those irregularities are. We have only been able to text with an AI chat and have been on hold for two hours so far to speak with a real person. The AI bot says our only option is to rebook the flight at current prices which are now much higher. Allegiant claims they are refunding our money, but that has not happened yet. Hi, I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Andrew and his team for how they handled the 8-hour flight delay. Despite the frustration of the situation, Andrew went above and beyond to make my mom comfortable and checked on her regularly. You could tell he genuinely cared, not just for her, but for everyone dealing with the delay. this airline will, undoubtedly, be delayed… count on it in your travels… i’ve been flying from lexington to sanford/orlando for 4 years… you can bank your money on them delaying your flight 2-10 hours flying out of lexington… not sure why i keep booking them except for the price is descent, but after years of delays, i will pay a little more to get a more consistent flight… after tonight, i think im finally done.
Trash. Never flying allegiant again. The app doesnt work after being prompted to check in for my flight. Customer support is almost non existent. They nickel and dime you with deceptive practices making a trip which generally should cost less than 200$ cost nearly 500$, then have the gall to send marketing emails advertising 33$ flights. Did I mention I have been in the air in one of these old planes when an engine went out while taking off and we had to immediately land?
