My mechanic business was told we could try their system for three months for $99 and if we liked the system it would be $179 per month if we decided to keep the program. The representative assured me as he flips threw his slide show that it was no contract agreement and we may cancel whenever we’d like. I subscribed to Alldata Collision a few months ago seeing as how I work in an autobody shop alongside my dad thinking it would be useful for my him and I to use. Problem was our shop is super small time so the service ended up being used maybe a handful of times the first two months I had it. It just wasn't worth the expense of having if we were going to see very limited use from it. I also expected it would have much more extensive amounts of info than it does. We use the Alldata Manage online version. Buyers should be aware that even though it says that it integrates with Quickbooks, it only imports limited information (only invoices, credits, and payments). This would be fine for us except it doesn't even do that completely. The zip code is nowhere to be found. Tax status does not import. You get to set ONE tax status and every account imports as that status and has to be changed manually in Quickbooks to exempt, resale, or whatever your tax codes are.

The product itself is adequate, and useful, although service was at times slow. My complaint is similar to other users, and as highlighted by BBB on this site: Alldata has a 0 tolerance approach to breaking contract. Unlike other commitment contracts like cell phone service where there is a fee for ending service early, one cannot end an alldata contract early. When I called customer service to confirm the billing cycle, the customer service rep said it was 7/27 - 8/26 and I should have known that because the billing statement shows billing cycle "7/28" and payment due date "8/27" and the cycle is always 1 day less. When I pointed out that the billing cycle 7/28/2018 could be interpreted to mean a monthly period ended 7/28 and that it would be more clear if the billing cycle listed the period 7/27- 8/26, he sounded further annoyed. Terrible customer service.

Again we have been experiencing serious connection issues with Alldata's Manage Online. This happens on a very regular basis, especially in the last year and a half. We run a small auto repair business and this really messes up our day because it's ONLINE. You have to leave messages on the phone when you call, because they hardly ever answer. I am not surprised that this company has such poor ratings with BBB. Have had trouble with them for four or five months. You talk to one person and they agree to reduce your monthly cost since you are not happy with the 'NEW" format. But that is never done. Called and Cancelled service over 3 weeks ago and they continue to charge us for one month and said they will do so again on 4/15 (four days after the last payment).
