Addendum to my original post..... We moved my dad in 3 months ago and have since moved him out. It was not a good fit for him. Allara is a beautiful facility with nice amenities for assisted living folks. However, the memory care lacks appropriate supervision and assistance. Three separate occasions, I pulled the emergency pull cord in his room because my dad needed help and nobody ever came. The caregivers are not aware of the calls until someone upstairs calls them. After an intensive search and visits to several memory care communities, I placed my mother at Allara Senior Living. It’s not the closest location to my home, but it was the best decision for my mother.
