This was the worst moving experience of my life and I have moved multiples times in the last 10 years. The moving crew were extremely unprofessional - they complained all day about the amount of items I was moving and one member asked me for my phone number multiple times throughout the day. Numerous items of furniture were damaged due to the crew dragging items. When I followed up with the office they mailed me a $200 settlement even though I paid $190 for full coverage storage. When my husband and I retired , we made the decision to sell our home in Connecticut and move south. We met with Vic from Capital Moving and Storage, a United Van Lines company, to get a quote. Vic was quite knowledgable, very efficient and extremely helpful. He walked us through the process and made recommendations for ways to save money as well as where not to cut corners.
