Perhaps the WORST moving experience I have ever had in my 10 years in Chicago - staff that not only did NOT complete the job but damaged the items that they did manage to drag to our new home. Additionally, upon trying to reach out to the company, they’ve been dodging our calls left and right. If you have the slightest inclination to reach out to a different moving company - do it, and save yourself the heartbreak that me and my partner went through. -1000/10
Don’t not use this moving company!! I use this moving company Aug 13th. During my move one of the workers stole some of my personal belongings. I’m still working with All My Sons moving company for compensation.
I called to schedule a move for 7:30am because I had a POD shipping container coming in to move my daughter to college. Because of the high demand, POD can only leave the container for a maximum of 3 hours at your house so I had to have the movers come no later than 8am at the latest. I was told over the phone that I had a guaranteed 7:30am arrival time for the movers but that they would call again to confirm 2 days before. 2 days before in the evening no call so I called them. Avoid All My Sons (New City Moving). My experience was filled with changing prices, rude customer service (even from “management”), and surprise charges. I booked this company to unload a moving truck from out of state only based on a written quote for 2 movers at $150 per hour. The quote also explicitly stated “Travel Time: 0 hours.” Since the team would be in city and just doing unloading duties.
