Alicia and her staff are the absolutely the best, !! They have been working my 2020 taxes for 4 years. We have gone back and forth with the IRS and was afraid I was going to get screwed and pay them 9K. My case was not that complicated but the IRS had to make sure my sister and I were in fact siblings to claim her children as I was their provider at the time. I almost always leave glowing reviews - I’m much more excited to share good businesses with others. Our experience here was bad enough that I am compelled to leave a review to hopefully save others a headache. We had a nice visit with Alicia when we were considering switching from another CPA. The office staff was cordial. That’s the end of the good news. The process is very impersonal and formulaic. No consultation/meeting to tax plan or review prior to the return being prepared. I am deeply disappointed and discouraged by my entire interaction with Alicia and her staff. They made incredibly costly mistakes, and when my husband reviewed our taxes and asked questions, we were treated as though we were a nuisance. After requesting an extension and finally being given more time, they discovered that we were indeed correct.
