This review is long over due. I got my Valima dress made by her about 10 years ago. On the day of the valima it looked beautiful, few years later however when I took the dress out to wear again to another wedding, I noticed all the stones that were attached by glue had turned brown. So my dress which was supposed to be full of silver only, started looking like it had brown spots all over just after within a few years. I could not wear it again. I could not recommend Alia enough! She has a vision for designing clothes and knows exactly what will work/not work when designing an outfit. She has an incredible eye for detail. Not only is she an amazing designer but she is an awesome store owner and provided me with A+ customer service from the moment I stepped into her store until way after I even had my clothes in hand. Alia’s collection is one of the most formally exquisite, richest and culturally curated. I picked from the collection on-hand and was absolutely in love with the work. I was longing for a traditional look that was a salute to the past which Alia had carefully understood. The wedding dress was made on time and tailoring was perfect. Thank you Alia for making my wedding dress I wouldn’t trade it for another.
My mother and I traveled from Edmonton to Toronto to meet Alia and from the moment we met her, my mother instantly liked her! She made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. I had the best experience with them. It was my wedding last week, I got my wedding dress from Alia K Studio, it’s amazing. Everyone liked it. I felt so comfortable and confident wearing that with nice embroidery on it. Must visit, their collection won’t dissatisfy you.
