I was glad to see the following review as I had the same experience. I had paid $185 to have maintenance done on my sewing machine 2 yrs ago and had heard the same man speaking very harshly to another customer. At this particular time I was waited on by a woman who was very pleasant. 2 yrs later I was having problems with my tension and called to see if I could bring it in, at which time the man answering the phone said to come in. What a waste of time. – What an enormous waste of time. my Dirt Devil. He was condescending, contradictory, and flat-out rude, insisting on saying what we were essentially agreeing on (I told him up-front that I suspected I'd put the vacuum back together wrong) in his own words, making me sound wrong, which I was not. He didn't listen at all, and actually raised his voice when I tried to take my machine and leave.
