Terrible customer service, I called in to rollover a 401k and was treated terribly, the person I spoke with was openly hostile, rude and dismissive.
Do NOT use this firm. I almost never give bad reviews, but these guys take the cake in the terrible experience category. I have have been actively working on transferring my money out of alerus to another Roth IRA, and it has taken at least 6 phone calls, 4 attempts at paperwork, and 3 months to get any action. Once the transfer was approved, it is taking ANOTHER 4 weeks to actually move the money. This is MY money, people. They should not get to drag their feet like this.
