If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my mentally disabled brother to Alerus to cash his legitimate refund check from JIT Blue Energy, but were treated terribly. They made us wait for 20 minutes, wrote all over his check, and then told him they couldn’t cash it—without giving a valid reason. The way we were treated felt discriminatory.
