We have a wood dining room table that I bought nearly 30 years ago and unfortunately ruined it by using it for projects with our kids when they were little, using super glue and paint thinner. I tried to repair it but that just made it worse. John Alegria stripped off the old lacquer, restained and relaquered it. He also cleaned up numerous other imperfections on the pedestals. Amazing work and customer service! I can’t think John enough for his wonderful craftsmanship! He was able to refurbish the bassinet, my daughter, who is now pregnant with my first grandchild, was in as a baby. My grand baby will now be able to use that same bassinet! John was a pleasure to work with! So talented and responsive! I can’t say enough about his wonderful work and service!
John isn't just good, he is absolutely brilliant. He can take the most worn out, scuffed, eroded and corroded antique, work his magic and present an astonishingly beautiful piece. John Alegria has elevated the restoration process to true artistry. I always have a piece in his shop getting the royal treatment.
