I'm calling a boycott. They kicked me out for warning them about the price gouging (which many people agree with), and supported male-bashing by employees who framed my neurodivergent communication style as predatory. As a gentleman, I find the perpetuation of this toxic culture offensive and I will not allow this kind of behavior to stand in this community. The proof is that they refuse to include a low-income section for people with food stamp cards. Enough with greedy, non-inclusive business.
We come to Port Townsend on the summer most years. We always visit Aldrich's. It used to have more groceries. The wine and tourist gifts have displaced other items. We miss their baked goods. While still good, it is no longer a must stop.

I got banned from Aldriches for an act of free speech. Telling them their prices are dangerously close to price gouging (X2 price on rice) and that they should have a discount for people on food stamps (like me). Even worse this one person yelled out over the whole store to the customers and the other employees that I had been told to go.
