The store has low-ish or competitive prices on everything. The convenience of a small store is nice. It is a very busy location, so there is a level of chaos as the day progresses and the staff hustles to keep up. It would be nice if customers were at courteous as the employees, but, who am I kidding. This is Albany and everyone thinks they are the center of the universe.
I had a car accident here and if it hadn’t been for the kindness of your employee Trisha, I think I would have had a panic attack. She went so above and beyond trying to help me find the owner of the vehicle, checking the camera, and even making sure I was alright. Deserves a raise and promotion!!! That’s customer service (and I wasn’t even a customer yet).

Stopped going to Aldi on Central Ave in Colonie, NY due to the store being ordered to shutdown & discard spoiled food. Finally went back there today Sept. 21, 2025 to grab a snack expecting it to be clean & organized since that shutdown. It was dirty i had to hopscotch & toe step to look for things. Shelves were very messy, empty boxes on floors. I avoided the fruit aisle, usually smashed berries & bananas are all over the floor. FILTHY & GROSS.
