This Aldi's get's a 5 star from me and this is because of Maya and Maya ONLY. I was completely blown away with her level of professionalism, steadiness, patience and overall kindness. It is the day after black Friday, 7:43pm and Maya was the only active cashier with a consistent long line. I have no idea why she was the only cashier on duty during this time but she did an absolute amazing job. I hope she is seen, appreciated and cared for by her management.
I love Aldi and shop at multiple locations. The lack of care and rudeness from Juanita the manager and the rude clerk is completely out of control. The clerk got into it with every single person in line and then yelled at the elderly lady making her move her turkey twice and making me move 6 heavy waters twice because they won’t let you keep your cart. The entire process of checking out at this location is a mess compared to all the locations I visit. It is a disaster.
I shopped here since it opened. The manager is unfriendly and rude. Despite that I continued to shop at this location until I commented to the manager (who was checking me out) that I missed the self checkout. He flatly told me I could go elsewhere to shop where they had self checkout. . .. getting rid of the self checkout was his idea. I can drive an extra couple of miles NOT to shop at this location. From the comments I read, his rudeness has infected his employees. So sad.
I si enjoy shopping at Aldi. But this Aldi i have had 2 very bad checkers. One is this cranky grey hairdresser woman who is "alwaysrude". Very rude... then I came across a young man who picked up my shopping bag that was on the belt. Picked it up from the bottom and dumped out 3 bottles of wine. I said I was going to do that. He didn't even respond or look up. He just kept throwing my items into my bag in a cart and shouted how he needed that cart back as he proceeded to check the guy out behind me and also was ring up the g... read more
Understaffed management needs to have more people staffed or just close the location.
