S-tier Aldi. The fundamentals are great: compact layout, one of almost everything you can imagine for a "typical" family (every once in a while we'll visit an ethnic grocer or other grocery store for more obscure ingredients), very clean, and well-stocked. What makes it a tier above average is the thoughtfulness of the employees, the fact that they don't force you to use self-checkout, and the almost inhuman cleanliness of the store. Don't forget your bags and a quarter for the cart!
Nice, clean and decently stocked depending on the day. Great for affordable organic food.
