I live in the Edwardsville area, but I will drive to the Granite city Aldi because it is bigger and has more of a selection. The aisles are plenty spaced out for people to easily maneuver, which is not true of the Glen Carbon Aldi. It also has a wonderfully long aisle of shame.
Went to this store on Tues June 30th and bought a rack of pork ribs, pork steaks, pre formed hamburger patties and brats. Everything had expiration date of July 16th. Took home placed directly in fridge. Took out on July 4th to cook for family and all the meat was rancid and spoiled. Nothing wrong with my fridge.Had 22 people at my house to eat and no meat!!
Came there Thursday and got groceries for 4th of July. All the meat purchased has a severe foul odor and is rancid. I got ribs, burger Pattie’s, and pork steaks and they all were refrigerated the entire time and were not supposed to go bad until July 16th but they were already bad. There is no number I have found to speak to someone but this is not ok
