Aldi use to be very clean and tightly. It no longer is. The floors are covered in dirt, spilt food and it's sticky. Chaos all over the store. Things thrown everywhere on the shelves like they were just shoved there while other shelves are bare. The meat coolers are gross and have dried blood from the meat in the red meat cooler like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. Very disappointed with the cleanliness of this store. The self checkout stations were filthy - as was the entrance and the overall store itself. I was going to use the self checkouts but they had smears, dry liquid residue and fingerprints all over the screen, scanning area and bagging area. Went to the single staffed register because I did not want to use the self checkouts and a manager walked up to talk to the cashier. Why oh why is now store majority self checkout?? The one employee manned register had an overload of responsibility of operating that PLUS answering the many self checkout issues that occurred for those customers utilizing! Too much for him, too much interruption of service for us, insulting for everyone!! Store already had a super fast and an efficient register manned system in place, why change??
