The security at this place is extremely disorganized and having dealt with them for the last 4 years and currently ongoing I can honestly say they are never on the same accord. There have been multiple instances of inconsistencies regarding the front gate located on Shamrock rd. Some officers follow the policy and procedures, some do not, and others do as they very well please and use certain aspects of the policy to invalidate any issue or concern you choose to bring to their attention. No service...unless ya beg daily... short of help??? extravagant prices for just room and board and then you hire someone to come in and look after your loved one, feed em , change em dress em... Very disappointed ! Dismissed everytime you have a question. Sad. Old folks deserve better in my opinion.
My husband and I toured 6 different communities before moving to Aldersgate and into a spacious cottage, backed by woods, nearly 4 years ago. Aldersgate has plenty of amenities: a robust schedule of movies, concerts, lectures, and off campus outings; a fitness center with multiple class offerings, a wood shop, an indoor pool, garden plots for residents interested in gardening, multiple dining venues…the list could go on. My wife and I have been living at Aldersgate for over 5 years in the Gateway Expansion section of the campus. We have a two bedroom suite on the third floor overlooking the center of campus activities called Wintergarden. There are concerts almost every week, a Pub to join your friends with indoor and outdoor seating. The food in all 5 venues is delicious. Activities are numerous.
