Update: My husband and I have now been here for nearly 6 years. We continue to be extremely happy with our choice to move to Aldersgate: interesting and friendly residents/neighbors, beautiful wooded surroundings, excellent and caring staff. The decision to move to a CCRC (or any move for that matter) is a major one. A wonderful place to live with friends and activities galore. If you are bored here, it's your fault.
A pleasure to evaluate the place where my spouse and I have spent almost a year. Epworth Building is clean and pleasant. The food is varied and tasty. (I recommend that residents be accorded a tour of the kitchens--as at the Barclay in Charlotte and as on the Queen Mary 2.) The staff is remarkably friendly, as are most of the residents.
